VPulse Cold Therapy DVT Calf Compression Pads with Tubing Set is designed to be used with the VPulse Cold (Cryotherapy) and Compression Unit.

 This pad improves range of movement, reduce blood loss, reduce swelling and inflammation and reduces pain.

VPulse Cryotherapy and compression helps patients achieve complete, comfortable recoveries through delivery of three distinct therapies:

  • Motorized cold therapy to help reduce operative site swelling, discomfort and inflammation.

DVT Definitions and Statistics:


Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) refers to the development of blood clots, or thrombi, within a deep vein. Typically it occurs in the thigh or calf and can develop after any major surgery. Symptoms may include pain, swelling and skin discoloration, or no signs at all. DVT risk is greatest between two and five days after surgery, with a second peak risk period occurring about 10 days after surgery—after the patient has been discharged.1 A consecutive pulmonary embolism, or PE, can occur when a clot breaks free and travels through the veins and lodges in the lungs. PE has been reported to occur in over one third of DVT patients and frequently causes sudden death.2

The National Center for Health Statistics estimates that DVT is an underlying cause of death for up to 100,000 people annually in the U.S. Estimates place the number of persons affected as high as 900,000. Between 10 and 30 percent will die within one month of diagnosis, and one third will have a recurrence within 10 years. Survivors may have lasting ramifications and chronic respiratory and cardiovascular issues.3 Without either mechanical or pharmacological prevention, DVT with no obvious symptoms will develop in 40 to 60 percent of patients undergoing total hip and knee arthroplasty.2 These numbers suggest a very real need for prevention.

Please check your package immediately to be sure your order is correct and items were not damaged.  If you receive a defective product or an incomplete order, EMAIL US IMMEDIATELY for prompt action at CustomerService@PhysiotherapyRoom.com.  Please include your name and order number.  Damaged or short shipments should be reported within 5 days of receipt.  Please keep the box if the item is damaged.

Returns - We pay the return shipping within the first 10 days!

Please place your item in a suitable shipment box to ship the item(s) back with our pre-paid return label (we suggest re-using the box that we shipped the items to you).  The authorized items must be dropped off at Canada Post on or before the final day of return timeframe to be eligible for refund.

We understand how hard it is to keep all packaging and even opening packages without damaging them, but we ask that you do your best to keep everything in good 'like new' condition. Please return all packaging and instructions with your return to receive a full refund. To deter against insurance fraud, in the event of a request for a refund we reserve the right to contact your insurer to verify the status of your reimbursement prior to processing your refund.  If an individual is abusing our return and refund policies, your order will be placed on hold and you will be notified of an additional restocking fee of up to 25% before items are shipped.

How to Initiate an Exchange!


If you have ordered the wrong size or product and require an exchange please email us at CustomerService@PhysiotherapyRoom.comWe will send you a pre-paid shipping label by email to cover the shipping fees.  Please note we cover the shipping fees when you request an exchange within the first 10 days of receiving your product.   After 10 days we offer a flat rate return shipping charge of only $10 plus HST.  Also note, we cover the shipping fees for the first exchange on your order, if you have multiple exchanges on the same order, you will be responsible for the shipping fees after the first complimentary exchange.

When will I get my refund?


It usually takes about 2-3 weeks.  Most refunds are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process your return.  The refund will appear on your original payment method.
