Ultraviolet C (UV-C) light is a short and high-energy wavelength of light that is highly effective at decontamination because it destroys molecular bonds that form virus and bacteria DNA. UV-C light is germicidal and can even neutralize “superbugs” that have developed antibiotic resistance.
The more UV-C lamps you use the more damage can be caused to the molecular bonds increasing the amount of kill rate for bacteria and germs and inactivation of viruses. Our UV Sterilization Box uses 6 UV-C lights.
Most competitors use 2 or 4 UV-C lights and supplement with UV-A lights. We did not want to compromise on performance and developed our units using the most effective means to neutralize bacteria, germs and viruses, and that is using 6 UV-C lights.
Conventional germicidal UVC light (254 nm wavelength) has been used for a long time to disinfect unoccupied spaces such as empty hospital rooms or empty subway cars, now we are bringing this technology to you to disinfect your personal items.
Caution... It should be noted that direct exposure to these conventional UV lamps can be considered a health hazard and you should not look at the light. Our UV sterilization box will not work if you open the box. For safety reasons, the professional 6 UV-C sterilization box only works if the box is closed.
