What is the Donjoy OA Reaction Web Knee Brace?
Donjoy OA Reaction Web Unloader Knee Brace is an entry level knee brace for those suffering from the early stages of osteoarthritis (OA) and chronic knee pain. Designed to off-set pressure and support the patella, the brace uses medical grade silicon which has been anatomically designed to extend and retract with various leg movements.

OA is a degenerative disorder in the knee that affects the cartilage and can be brought on by a number of factors ranging from post-operative stress, sporting trauma, or even old age. Cartilage is slowly worn away, causing movements to become painful and joints to be distorted as the body attempts to repair itself.
While there is no cure for it as of yet, knee braces can aid in slowing the degeneration and provide suitable pain relief for OA sufferers.
How does it work?
Donjoy OA Reaction Knee Brace uses a number of techniques to relieve OA pain. The most notable is the patented open web design, which features a network of durable, high grade silicon that wraps around the knee to provide appropriate shock absorption and support. The silicon absorbs and releases kinetic energy, allowing the wearer to regain confidence in their movements and stay active.
The brace also uses two silicone condyle pads that support the knee on either side. Non-slip and secure, the condyle pad uses a hexagonal design to create an air pocket which holds closely to the skin. These pads not only aid in pain relief, but also off-load any extra pressure being placed on the affected compartment.
Lightweight, breathable, and discreet, the Donjoy OA Reaction Knee Brace comes with a fitted undersleeve to gently compress the skin to increase blood flow and promote recovery. Combined with contoured back pad, straps, and moisture wicking material, it becomes clear that this knee brace has been designed with maximum comfort in mind.
What Is an Unloader Knee Brace?
An unloader knee brace unloads stress from the affected joint. Most often, unloader knee braces are prescribed for those with medial compartment knee osteoarthritis (affecting the inner portion of the knee).
When you walk, if you have medial knee osteoarthritis, the instability in the knee can be obvious to someone who is watching you walk -- the knee actually wobbles towards the inside. Usually the affected leg has a bow (bow legged, genu varus). Some designs of unloader knee braces can unload either the medial (inner) or lateral (outer) part of the knee -- just by adjusting the unloading hinge. This takes stress and unloads the side of the knee that has the arthritis, taking the pressure off and helping re-align the knee. This can help reduce pain, inflammation and help you walk better.

To find out what size you need, please measure the thigh circumference 6" above the middle of your kneecap.

DonJoy Braces Warranty – LIMITED 6 months
DonJoy warrants the rigid components (frame, hinges, etc.) of their braces for 1 year and warrants the soft components (pads, straps, etc.) for 6 months from manufacturing or material defects.
EXCLUSIONS: DonJoy does not warrant products for cosmetic deficiencies caused by regular wear and tear.

Our Return Policy
You may return most new, unopened items which were not special orders within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Exceptions to Our Return Policy
To maintain hygienic standards in accordance with Ontario Health and Health Canada infection and disease prevention initiatives ALL medical, surgical, and rehabilitation equipment and soft supports are non-returnable, unless they have a manufacturer guarantee. - Any items marked as non-returnable on the product page.

Please check your package immediately to be sure your order is correct and items were not damaged. If you receive a defective product or an incomplete order, EMAIL US IMMEDIATELY for prompt action at CustomerService@PhysiotherapyRoom.com. Please include your name and order number. Damaged or short shipments should be reported within 5 days of receipt. Please keep the box if the item is damaged. If your tracking number shows as delivered but you never received your package, you need to report this within 5 business days. Someone on our customer service team will reach out with further steps.
We cannot accept returns on merchandise that was opened, used, is missing the serial number or UPC, or returned more then 30 days after delivery. If you would like to make a return or exchange, you must contact us by phone or email.

Items returned to us without notification will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
To deter against insurance fraud, in the event of a request for a refund we reserve the right to contact your insurer to verify the status of your reimbursement prior to processing your refund. If an individual is abusing our return and refund policies, your order will be placed on hold and you will be notified of an additional restocking fee of up to 25% before items are shipped.

We are committed to offering you a low-risk online shopping experience. If you need a different size or you want to exchange for a different product, we've got you covered. You need to reach out to us within 5 days of receiving your item. We will pay the return shipping fees (for the first exchange) when you request an exchange within the first 5 days after receiving your order. Plus, we offer free advice from our physiotherapists. Our team is standing by to help you figure out what product or size might be better for you.
How to Initiate an Exchange!
Please reach out within the first 5 days of receiving your item. Try it on, if it does not fit, reach out to us. We would be happy to help you get the right item for your needs. You cannot use this item for a month then decide to exchange or return the item. If the item has been used and cannot be resold and is not in the original package, we will cannot allow an exchange or refund!
If you have ordered the wrong size or product and require an exchange please email us at CustomerService@PhysiotherapyRoom.com. We will send you a pre-paid shipping label by email to cover the shipping fees. Please note we cover the shipping fees when you request an exchange within the first 5 days of receiving your product. Also note, we cover the shipping fees for the first exchange on your order, if you have multiple exchanges on the same order, you will be responsible for the shipping fees after the first complimentary exchange.

When will I get my refund?
It usually takes about 2-3 weeks. Most refunds are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process your return. The refund will appear on your original payment method.
All orders shipped outside of Canada are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Some items are not eligible to ship outside of Canada. This will be stated on the product page. If this is the case, we have the right to cancel and refund your order.
